Just had a call form a Google Support Guy. To follow up an issue I had with a Spreadsheet. Problem solved very very fast! Google rocks!
I asked why I did not seem to have the latest release of Spreadsheets and other Apps.
The solution: it is because the Google Apps Company Profile is not set to "Rapid Release".
Instructions:
1. Sign into your Google Apps Admin console
2. Click 'Company Profile'
3. Click 'Profile'
4. New User Features need to be set to 'Rapid Release'.
Please allow up to 24 hours for this change to propagate. Once this has propagated, in order to enable the new Sheets feature please open Google Drive, click on the gear/cog wheel icon, click 'Settings', click 'Editing', select 'Try the new Google Sheets' and save.
